Checklist for the first day
Photograph every paper
Bond sheet, court date, agency name, temporary notices, tow or rental receipts. Email the photos to yourself.
Put the court date on your calendar
Multiple reminders. Missing court can mean a warrant—especially painful if you already flew home.
Do not post about it
Skip social media and group-chat recaps. Texts and posts can show up later.
Watch for license / DMV issues

Where you were, stop location, tests, statements—share only with counsel.
